It's definitely been awhile ...
What a whirlwind the past 3 years have been!
2020 — got through covid and moved to England
2021 — bought a house and settled in Worcester, England
2022 —started getting back to life, traveling and even launched a new quilt pattern
2023 — decided it's time to give my creative journey a kick in the pants ...
It's not like I have just been twiddling my thumbs ...
I've gotten a few things accomplished ... but it's been more scattered than focused. So now the focus begins.
My first focused effort is to get my next mid-century modern quilt pattern completed. A year in the making, I have finally narrowed it down to two options.
Option 1 — 1/2" grid |
Option 2 — 1" grid |
Curious what you guys think of the 2 options. Once I decided on the width of the grid, I can then start to design it in different sizes and get the pattern off to the testers. Feels so close, but I know it's still off a bit.
Loving that Frédérique has a weekly link party where we can share our efforts.
I truly hope I will be able to stick with this. I do miss the place where you can share ideas, information and stuff without having to make it picture perfect.
Best to all and I hope to be back next week.
Lisa
Wow, your new pattern looks very pretty. I love the first option, with skinny lines, but whichever pattern you choose, it's sure to look great!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back in the blogland, and thank you for sharing and linking up ;)
Both patterns you have imagined are fabulous. As you have asked for our thoughts, I rather love the first option. =) I too, like the thinner lines with those bold and colourful blocks of colour.
ReplyDeleteThe thicker lines makes the blocks POP
