Color mix

It really didn't matter how many times I ran her off ... she was convinced that this was here for HER!

I did finish all the piecing tonight and now have a quilt top that is 83" x 91" ... perfect for the murphy bed in the den at the cabin.

I realized when I was looking at the back tonight, just how much piecing was actually involved with this baby ;-).  And it really did make a dent in the solid scrap bin as well!

As I was finishing up the top this evening, I got carried away, fantacizing about sandwiching this tomorrow and then quilting it on Monday ... until I remembered that I haven't even thought of what I want to do on the back yet, and the nearest fabric store to the cabin is 45 minutes away ...

Umm ... guess I will work on another quilt tomorrow ;-).

    Love this! I don't have that many solids. Funny how our pets ' claim' quilts. I also like how you show the back - love seeing nicely pressed seams.

    My dog does the same thing, and when I baste quilt on the floor I have to move her constantly in order to get the pins in. Beautiful, colourful quilt!
